I believe we already have the inner resources we need for a happy and productive life.  But for many reasons, throughout our lives, we can feel that things are not going well or our lives may feel out of control.

In some cases, when our situation becomes very difficult, we realise we need some help.  There may also be times, when we just experience vague feelings of discomfort or dissatisfaction, without even knowing what the problem is.  And some of us end up feeling so desperate that the only option we can consider is taking our own lives.  However we feel, it can be difficult to take the first step in reaching out and asking for help. 

Counselling provides a safe and confidential place for you to explore your current situation without you being judged or told what to do.  Rather, the aim is to enable you to understand your own unique process which, for now, has become blocked or stuck.
